Dowsing as a practice is said to have originated in Germany in the 1500s. It was initially used in an attempt to find metals before it transformed into what it is today.

I believe that science is constantly developing and someday will catch up with the dowsing practice to justify the process. A geologist can do a fine job of finding water by analyzing volcanic crevices and shifts on the land’s surface. Both methods can be crucial to determine water availability. It all depends on what the client wants; however, dowsers have the ability to be more accurate.
